Discord will verify who you are. The Mongrels website will independently decide what you are allowed to see and manage.

The member portal now uses the Cloudflare-hosted authentication backend. Discord verifies your identity, then the site assigns the appropriate Mongrel access level.
Discord tokens and website secrets remain on the Cloudflare backend and are never stored in public JavaScript.

This separation is intentional. A Discord role can establish membership or officer status, but it does not grant ownership of the website.
Recruitment, history, rules, public ship builds, public BGS status, gallery, and other open squad resources.
Private Daily Orders, internal projects, member resources, and future squad-only tools.
Member access plus approved management tools such as publishing operational tasking.
Website access rules, security configuration, and administrative controls. This level remains Wolf only.
Authentication Milestone
The next phase is to move actual member-only information behind protected endpoints and verify Member/Officer role mapping with additional accounts.
